NeoRussell’s Corner

Summer should be starting this weekend for some states. I know its happening in Toronto this weekend.

I got a few friends coming from Japan for 2 weeks so i’m not saying that I will not be able to release videos, i’m just saying that it may take awhile.

I think it’s safe to say that everybody should be pretty familiar with SFIV now. Time for you to enter Tournaments and Gatherings to prove how good you are. Practice does leads to greatness but experience must be included in there. You can practice all day but using it in a real match is different. The pressure of landing it properly and boasting to the loser. It’s all part of the game. Make sure you go out there and play as many different characters as possible. It will help you to be a better player, I guarantee it.

Upcoming Projects:
BR Videos
Viper Guide
E. Honda Guide
Small TidBit videos

Anyways, on with the show.

Street Fighter IV

Dan Combo Video

Dan is considered by many as low tier. If you want to beat people with Dan. You have to step up your game. You have to be very good with the SFIV system and also have great knowledge of the other characters. It’s not like picking Shoto’s where you just pick up the character and have the best moves in the game to counter everybody. With Dan, it’s more than that. Learn his moves and then learn how he fights against every character. Only then can you succeed with him. Good Luck Dan users.

Zangief Short Jump

Notation: u~uf will perform Zangief’s Short Jump
Hopefully you can notice in the video how powerful this move is. They whiff their move and you do 360, Super, or Ultra. Instant death. Zangief is the only one who can do this.

Akuma Instant Ultra Demon

Watch closely since he does it really fast and only once. He does explain it but it’s in Japanese so sorry.

Notation: f~b~lp~lk+hp
How is this useful?
Let’s say your just walking and the opponent thinks your just walking towards him.
He’ll do a long range move and before that comes out, you do ultra. Think of this as a feint. To make them think your are just advancing but really you have Ultra Coming.
