I know it’s late but the picture should speak for itself.  LOL
Hope you guys had fun in your New Years Eve Festivities, I know I did.

It’s a New Year and new beginning for all/some of us.
I already jotted down my resolutions, have you?

Try to honor them and be sure you complete it before 2010 ends.
Last thing you want is to not be true to your commitments.

Gaming wise

The tutorial videos will continue but it’s great that people are sending their videos to showcase to you guys as well.  This buys me time to figure out what I feel is important to improve your game.  There are many more fighting games coming out this year as well, so let’s enjoy them as they come.

Blaz Blue: Continuum Shift

I’ve been playing BlazBlue lately and it is a fun and unique game.
I capped some videos with my trusty new Camcorder, check them out:

Note: I’m Tsubaki, not the cat girl.  She’s one of the new characters so the learning curve still needs to happen.

I know I need a Tripod for the Camera.
I’m sure the quality would improve as well if I hold it steady.

Tekken 6: Craig Marduk Combo by EgyptianDarknessTeam
Unleashed Animal 2 Maximum Damage

I personally do not use Marduk (I hate him) but I hope you enjoy this video anyway because it taught me some combos I didn’t know he had.

Tekken 6 Matches and Combos

Posted on Dec 22, 2009 12:52:35 PM

NeoRussell’s Corner

Holidays are here.  Hope everybody has their game to play over these free times we got.  I have Batman: Arkham Asylum and Zelda: Spirit Tracks to keep me company.  Of course the fighting games I usually play are there but a good Adventure game is better at times like this.  Unless your really hardcore.  LOL

Just want to bring up more Tekken combos to tide us over the holidays.
Miguel and Law combo videos if you use the characters.  Thanks to Slayer for video and for Kratos2027 letting me know.  Not sure if those two are the same person.  Sorry.

Tekken 6: Green Arcade in Korea

If you guys didn’t know, the Green Arcade is the hotspot for Top Tier players in Korea for Tekken 6.  It is the place to be to achieve greatness.  Players like Rain, MoonAce, Holeman and Nin reside their asses to play there.  A person by the name Maximilian recently moved to Korea for studies.  Being an avid Tekken fan that he is, he caps matches from that arcade. Check out his Youtube page for a wide array of videos.  Not that wide right now but still a lot of videos.

Here’s a sample match between Rain and Help Me:

Tekken 6 BR Law Combo Vol.1 By Slayer

Law has always been a wall carry character.  He is juggle oriented and can be troublesome when in the right hands.  Better practice these combos if you use Law.

Tekken 6 BR Miguel Combo Guide By Slayer

I used Miguel in the original T6 version and he was more powerful there.  He seems to be a bit dumb down in BR.  He is still good but they made a few of his useful moves more negative on block so it hurts to use him at times.  Still he is really fun if you like the manly moves.

Tekken 6 and MegaMan Rap

NeoRussell’s Corner

It’s chilly in Toronto today.  Really cold. brrrrr
Just a few updates today on combo videos.  As I mentioned, people are sending me combo videos which they are more than welcome to do.

Sorry if the site has been dedicated to Tekken in the recent month.  It’s a great game but I have to realize that people who visit are other game players as well.  With this being said, i’m capping a few other fighting games that are popular right now.  If the reception is good with them then I will continue on.  Last I want is to create KOFXII videos and nobody is watching.  Does anybody even play that game competitively? I know they do in China and UK but do not hear anything about it in North America.

To close it off, I also recently found a really cool Megaman Rap.  Blends really well with the music plus adds a few quirks that made me laugh.

TekkenChile’s – Tribute to Paul

I personally do not use Paul but man these combos look sick.  Looking at it further, they don’t seem difficult to do either.

Megaman 2: The Adventures of Duane and Brando

I’m a big fan of the Megaman series and this video blew me away.  The boss battles are funny and if you listen to the lyrics closely, you’ll laugh.  Especially Bubble Man, “I’m not fucking with you”. LOL, enjoy.

T6: Low Parry

NeoRussell’s Corner

Sundays are nice relaxing days ain’t it.  I think I mentioned that before.
You gotta agree that it is nice.  Nothing beats a lazy Sunday that’s for sure.

1 update today for Tekken.  It seems to be the shit right now so I’m creating as many videos as possible with this game.  I have KOFXII but haven’t even touched that game in awhile.

I may create some more SFIV videos but with the release of SSFIV coming, I don’t know if what I create gets voided by the new system.  I shouldn’t let that stop me though.  I’m sure I will create some SFIV vids in the coming weeks.

I want to try something new as well next year.
I am in the works in creating an Anime Music Video.  I’ve always been promising myself to create one but never end up making them.  I have to stop talking and start doing.  Maybe, just maybe what I create is good but only time will tell.

Tekken 6: BR – The Art of Low Parry

Low Parries have been around since TTT.
It was created to stop the many many low options an opponent has.  I guess Namco wants to make sure that doing many lows can sometimes come with consequences.

In the long run, I see high level players not using Low Parries and it makes me wonder at times.  It was broken in the first T6 where a low parry does not count as a bound.  Imagine that, a low parry then you get a bound after, that’s a wall carry on its own.  Its a good thing they fixed that in T6BR.

Anyways, enjoy and pass it around.
