SCIV: Yoshimitsu’s iMCF Tutorial

Posted on Nov 25, 2008 11:44:34 AM

SCIV Video

If you play SCIV and you use or plan to use Yoshimitsu, you will need to learn how to do his iMCF.

iMCF is a Just Frame move that give you an unshakeable stun on CH hit. Meaning, that when you hit them with a counter version of this move, you get SO MANY GUARANTEED options.

I’ll stop blabbing and just show you:

Now that you know how to do it, you can make use of it in your game.
Here is a video (not made by me) that showcases Yoshimitsu’s iMCF game:

I finally got new videos of Tekken 6 last night.
Plus a few more SC vids. All will be released in dew time.

If you have a PS3 then get the game now and try the online capability.
Sorry XBOX 360 owners, one more day for you. Go play MK vs DCU while you wait.
It’s better than the release date for EU and Asia gamers, we don’t know yet.

I would like to know if it is sub par to playing offline. Drop me a line so that I can make a review.

In other SF news:

It seems that the Capcom Store is releasing a collectible for Street Fighter II Fans.

No specific dates when these items will be released though.

MK vs DCU

So you bought MK vs DCU but don’t have anybody to play or chat with.
I have looked around for the best forum for the game but none was better than Mortal Kombat United. It’s really organized IMO. Register and interact with other MK vs DCU players. I will be adding them to my links later.

News:

Got back from Buffalo on Saturday night. Man it was freezing there.
We were in the suburbs so nothing to do but sit inside to not freeze to death.
I got 4th in SC4 and I don’t know about Tekken.

In other news, Two more days for SF HD remix. We all can’t wait to mash the buttons and rank top online. Actually because of GGPO, we may actually get a good online experience.

MK vs DCU: Getup Strategies
I still say this game is worth something and hopefully, showcasing you these strategies will help you understand that.

Blaz Blue

While we await Blaz Blue’s release sometime this week or next week, you can visit:
Geesendou’s Youtube Page for 30 plus match videos of the game

I just need to get more Tekken vids.
It’s getting hard to go to the arcade because of snow and all.

News + Street Fighter II: HD REMIX

Posted on Nov 21, 2008 12:22:16 PM

So much to do and so much free time that I should be doing it. *lazy at times*
So what’s in the news today.

Street Fighter II: HD REMIX

SFHD

It’s is with great pleasure to announce (if you don’t know yet) that Street Fighter HD remix will be coming out next week. Confirmed release date will be November 26th. You can purchase the game through PS Network or Xbox Live Marketplace.

All you need is $15 and space to download the game. To put icing on the cake, GGPO was consulted to make the online experience slighty or awesomely better. If you guys don’t know GGPO go to their website. Their main page clearly shows what their intentions are.

I would also like to use this time to get you guys (i don’t know if it’s being read since I got no comments yet *sad*) to reminices about your SFII days. Think as far back and when you smile, I would like to hear about it.

My fondest memory was playing an SFII game in Philippines that had a timer. Yes you heard me right, A TIMER for playtime. I had 5 minutes to play the game. I kept losing to Dhalsim, continues were free so I kept going. Then I used Blanka and kicked Dhalsim’s ass and but that took 5 minutes so when I won, the timer ran out. LOL Brings back memories.

I will be in Buffalo on Saturday (Nov. 22nd) to compete in a Tournament.
Rumble in the Tundra

If you are in the area and want to participate, pass by.
Say hi if you see me. I’m very approachable. If you have an idea or strat, I would like to hear it.

I’ll give results for the 3-4 games I participate in.
